Directions to our diamond:

Horspath Field, Horspath Athletics Ground, Oxford, OX4 2RR

from outside Oxford:

If you are travelling north up the A34:

Take the Hinksey Hill/South Hinksey exit off the A34 and travel anti-clockwise on the Oxford ring road.  Follow the ring road around (crossing quite a few roundabouts) until you see the large BMW factory on your right.  You then need to turn right at the first set of traffic lights you come to (towards the Horspath Industrial estate & athletics/sports ground).  Drive about 500m down this road (past the industrial estate) and you will find the entrance to the sports facility on your left.

If you come to Oxford on the M40 & A40:

At the first large roundabout you come to (Headington roundabout) on the A40 take the first exit and travel round the Oxford ring road.  Turn left at the third set of traffic lights you come to (which is signposted the Horspath Industrial estate & athletics/sports ground).  Drive about 500m down this road (past the industrial estate) and you will find the entrance to the sports facility on your left. 

from Oxford city centre:

By bus:

The easiest way to get to Horspath Field is by bus.  Catch the number 10 CITY CIRCLE (stagecoach) from outside Carfax Tower in town.  Ask the driver to let you know when you arrive at Horspath Road.  Get off the bus here, and walk to the end of Horspath Road (it is a dead end, as it is intersected by the large Oxford ring road).  Cross the ring road, and continue to walk down Horspath Road, past an industrial estate, and eventually you will find the Horspath Athletics/Sports facility on your left.  Before you get to the sports centre entrance you can also take a small shortcut as there is a small entrance to some playing fields, which is where we have had the diamond built.  The 10 (J R Hospital - Headington - Wood Farm - Cowley Centre - City centre) leaves every 60 minutes from town on a Sunday, and much more regularly on other days.  A detailed timetable for this bus can be found here: www.stagecoachbus.com.

By bike:

Cycle all the way down Cowley Road until you pass a police station on your right.  You will now approach two sets of traffic lights.  At the second set of lights take a left and cycle up this narrow road (Hollow Way) until you reach Horspath Road.  Turn right on Horspath road and continue to cycle until you get to where it is intersected by the large Oxford ring road.  Cross the ring road, and continue to cycle down Horspath Road, past an industrial estate, and eventually you will find the Horspath Athletics/Sports facility on your left.  Before you get to the sports centre entrance you can also take a small shortcut as there is a small entrance to some playing fields, which is where we have had the diamond built.
