From California, USA, Taylor Umlauf was a devastating hitter and an overpowering pitcher. The first King's player ever to be intentionally walked, Umlauf specialized in driving in runs with elegant line drives to all fields. This useful lefty also started on the mound in the inaugural Varsity Match and the 98/99 Universities Tournament (the King's won both).
