Tour Programme in detail: -

Thursday morning:
Arrival at Genoa airport, and transport by bus to Tortona. Takes approx. 90 minutes.

Thursday afternoon:
Discover Tortona - walkabout.
At 4 p.m. we will be guests at the Wine Road in Tortona, and a salami factory.  In the evening, we'll meet up with some baseball guys for a pizza.

Friday morning:
Enjoy a leisurely morning, relax, shop etc.

Friday evening:
At 6 p.m. we will be transported to Castelnuovo ("Newcastle") for an official welcome by the Mayor, and at 8 p.m., there will be a cultural meeting (about 1 hour), where we will give an interview to local dignitaries and press.  This will be followed by a dinner in a local restaurant.  At 10.30 or 11 p.m. back to the hotel.  There is pub close to the hotel - Tortona by night needs to be discovered.

Saturday
This day will be fully occupied by an International Baseball tournament.  The participating teams are:- Alessandria, Sannazzoro dei Burgundi, Castelnuovo and us.  Transport to the ballpark will be provided.  The evening is free.

Sunday morning
Transport to the airport to depart from Genoa airport.
